TOURISE 2025 Opens in Riyadh to Shape the Future of Global Tourism

Leslie Graham, Unravel Travel TV, attended the inaugural TOURISE Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which opened on 11th November 2025, the start of a new global platform focused on the future of tourism. The event is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, and was officially opened by H.E. Ahmed Al Khateeb, Minister of Tourism of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of TOURISE.

Nearly 8,000 delegates have registered for the three-day summit, taking place from 11–13 November 2025, directly after the 50th United Nations Tourism General Assembly. More than 140 international speakers are participating, representing government, investment, technology, and travel sectors.

Focus on Collaboration and Practical Outcomes

TOURISE aims to connect global tourism leaders to identify new opportunities, strengthen cooperation, and address shared challenges. The summit’s agenda focuses on innovation, sustainability, and cross-sector partnerships that can deliver long-term value to destinations and businesses.

In his opening address, H.E. Ahmed Al Khateeb noted that international tourism has reached record levels since the pandemic but faces new pressures and opportunities, including technological change, evolving traveller expectations, and the need for resilience in the face of environmental and economic challenges.

Industry Participation

The summit brings together ministers, CEOs, investors, and policy experts to exchange knowledge and develop strategies for a more connected and sustainable tourism economy.
