Bangkok, Thailand, 23 September 2026 – IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific 2026 opened today at the Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, bringing together more than 1,000 delegates from across the global MICE and corporate travel sectors.
Running until 25 September, the double-bill event connects regional destinations, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, venues, technology providers, corporate travel specialists, hosted buyers and international media.
The programme combines pre-scheduled business appointments with professional education, destination presentations and networking events. Featured organisations include Business Events Australia, the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute of the Macao SAR, Gevme, the Hong Kong Tourism Board and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau.
Conference sessions will examine the changing value of meetings and corporate travel, including how face-to-face events can deliver benefits beyond the gathering itself. The Global Business Travel Association will also lead a discussion on duty of care and the industry’s preparedness for future disruptions.
Thai culture and community engagement form part of the programme. ICCA and Local Alike will host an interactive jasmine garland workshop, with the completed garlands returned to members of the local community for sale. The activity will be followed by an ICCA-led discussion on trends and challenges shaping the international MICE industry.
Delegates can also experience destination-led activities across the exhibition floor. The Pattaya-Chonburi MICE City booth is offering a sensory journey featuring neck and shoulder massages, while the Hong Kong Pavilion is presenting local flavours, including dried shrimp roe popcorn and Hong Kong-style lemon tea cocktails and mocktails.
Networking functions include a luncheon hosted by the Hong Kong Tourism Board and evening events involving the Goyang Convention and Exhibition Bureau and Blue Elephant.
Established in 1993, IT&CM Asia is co-located with CTW Asia-Pacific. The two events have operated together since 2004, providing a combined platform for the Asia-Pacific MICE and corporate travel industries.
