IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific 2025 Deliver Dynamic Show with New Collaborations, Experiential Highlights, and Expanded Global Participation

The 33rd IT&CM Asia and 28th CTW Asia-Pacific concluded in Bangkok, Thailand, bringing renewed energy and innovation to the region’s leading MICE and corporate travel trade event. The 2025 edition featured fresh collaborations, interactive showcases, and immersive cultural experiences that strengthened business connections and celebrated creativity within the global meetings and events community.

This year’s show welcomed over 270 new and returning destinations, organisations, and brands, alongside more than 400 MICE, association, and corporate buyers from over 50 countries and territories. The exhibition floor was alive with activity, from handicraft demonstrations and interactive workshops to cultural performances and culinary showcases — all offering delegates a deeper understanding of each destination’s unique personality and culture.

Pre-Event Experience: Sustainability and Culture at the Core

The pre-event programme, hosted by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), immersed delegates in the green heart of Bangkok at Bang Kachao. Participants crafted custom diffusers inspired by local botanicals, followed by a sustainability activity planting Dang Nam trees using eco-friendly coffee grounds at the Suan Pa Ket Community Forest. The day concluded with a Lost Plate Bangkok Evening Food Tour, where delegates explored old-town markets by tuk-tuk, sampling authentic Thai street food and regional delicacies.

Day One Highlights: Knowledge, Networking, and Inspiration

The opening day featured a series of educational sessions, keynote addresses, and engagement activities tailored to diverse industry interests.

Mrs. Supawan Teerarat, President of TCEB, delivered the keynote Design Local: Quenching the Thirst for Authenticity, highlighting the value of locally inspired design and experience-led tourism.

Noor Ahmad Hamid, CEO of PATA, presented Shaping the Future of Travel, offering insights into Asia-Pacific’s evolving travel landscape.

Delegates also participated in Sustainable Gastronomy in MICE by ICCA and an energetic cocktail mixing workshop hosted by Singapore EXPO.

The day concluded with the Evening Get-Together, an informal networking reception featuring live music, canapés, and interactive games that encouraged new connections across the global MICE community.

Exhibition Floor: Innovation Meets Experience

Throughout the three-day event, exhibitors created memorable experiences within their booths.

Pattaya MICE City offered relaxing 15-minute massages.

TCEB delighted visitors with authentic Thai snacks, drinks, and cultural dance performances.

The Macao SAR Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute drew attention with an AI face-swap photo booth featuring Macao landmarks, giving guests instant printed souvenirs.

The BizMatch & Meet programme provided opportunities for pre-scheduled and spontaneous appointments, fostering productive business discussions between buyers and exhibitors.

Post-Show Tours: Exploring Thailand Beyond Bangkok

Following the exhibition, hosted post-show tours gave international delegates the chance to experience Thailand’s diverse MICE destinations:

Sukhothai (26–28 September 2025): Delegates explored historic temples, the Si Satchanalai porcelain village, and local silk weaving communities, with hands-on D.I.Y. craft sessions.

Krabi: Participants enjoyed seafood feasts, beachside relaxation, zip-lining, snorkelling, and wellness activities amid the province’s tropical scenery.

Khon Kaen: Delegates visited local weaving collectives, the Khon Kaen International Convention and Exhibition Center (KICE), and the Ban Chiang UNESCO World Heritage Site, while sampling authentic farm-to-table Isan cuisine.
