Madrid, July 29, 2025 – The innovation that will define the future of the tourism sector will once again take center stage this year at the TIS – Tourism Innovation Summit, to be held 22 – 24 October 2025 in Seville. As part of the event, there will be a new edition of the Touristech Startup Fest 2025, the leading competition that selects and showcases the most innovative startups in the tourism ecosystem. This initiative, which brings together the most disruptive entrepreneurs, has already established itself as an essential meeting point between emerging innovation and the major players in the tourism value chain, fostering strategic alliances that accelerate the transformation of tourism.
The Touristech Startup Fest is now accepting applications from pioneering projects that are promoting smarter, more sustainable, and more connected tourism, with solutions based on technologies such as AI, big data, automation, 5G, cybersecurity, AR/VR, and more. In line with previous editions, more than 400 startups are expected to apply. Of these, 40 startups will be selected as finalists to present their proposals to a jury of investors, venture capital funds, and leading companies in the tourism industry to compete for various awards and meetings with executives who can help them scale their projects. In addition, the selected projects will have access to acceleration programs, mentoring, training, and direct connections with investors and corporate ventures seeking new financing or collaboration opportunities.
In addition, the proposals will be included in the first global atlas of tourism startups, a publication featuring more than 400 participating projects, providing international visibility to entrepreneurial talent and the most innovative solutions in the Travel Tech sector.

Under the slogan ‘Innovation in motion, tourism reimagined’, the event will offer a vision of the future through the Tourism Innovation Global Summit conference and an exhibition area where more than 200 technology companies will be present, showcasing their latest solutions based on artificial intelligence, data analytics, business intelligence, cybersecurity, 5G connectivity, and immersive technologies such as augmented and virtual reality. In addition, tools aimed at sustainability, inclusion, accessibility, and environmental impact measurement will be highlighted.
