From Connections to Experiences: IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific 2026 Closed with Thailand in the Spotlight

6 October 2026 – IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific 2026 have officially concluded. The event brought together more than 1,000 attendees, including 600 exhibitors, 361 buyers, and 30 media representatives. Held in Bangkok, the event delivered a dynamic programme of quality business networking, thought-provoking education and authentic destination experiences, showcasing the best of Thailand’s MICE and business events offerings.

Pre-Event Highlights: Culinary and Cultural Discoveries
Ahead of the IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific exhibition, delegates took part in exclusive pre-event experiences designed to showcase Thailand’s rich culinary heritage and local culture. Delegates embarked on the Bangkok Evening Food Tour by Lost Plate, exploring the hidden corners of old Bangkok while sampling local street food and regional delicacies. The immersive experience offered delegates an authentic taste of Bangkok’s vibrant culinary culture while discovering lesser- known parts of the city.

Another culinary highlight was Becoming Thai Culinary Master with Blue Elephant Cooking School, where delegates were introduced to the flavours and techniques behind traditional Thai cuisine. Participants had the opportunity to prepare local dishes themselves before sitting down to enjoy
their creations.

Exhibition Highlights: Connecting Through Experience
Throughout the exhibition, exhibitors brought their destinations and offerings to life through engaging activities, culinary experiences and cultural showcases. The Hong Kong Tourism Board welcomed delegates with Hong Kong-style cocktails and mocktails, accompanied by dried shrimp roe popcorn, offering a distinctive taste of Hong Kong. Meanwhile, Pattaya invited delegates to unwind with complimentary neck and shoulder massages infused with aromatherapy, creating a relaxing sensory experience. Delegates could also take a break, refresh and network over drinks and snacks during dedicated networking sessions.

TCEB pavilion activities: Pattaya Sensory Experience
TCEB added a touch of Thai culture to the exhibition floor with live performances, including a Muay Thai showcase, while also serving local favourites such as Thai milk tea and snacks for delegates to enjoy.

Business connections remained at the heart of the event, with BizMatch and Meet providing exhibitors and buyers with opportunities to take part in quick roundtable sessions to introduce their products, services and offerings. Buyers could earn scratch tickets by completing their scheduled business appointments to earn scratch tickets, with prizes up for grabs.

MICE Venues Beyond Bangkok

Post-Show Tours: MICE Venues Beyond Bangkok
The destination experience continued beyond the exhibition, with the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) bringing delegates on post-show tours to discover MICE venues and experiences beyond Bangkok. At Roastery by Roj, delegates gained an insight into the world of premium coffee through an interactive experience, featuring coffee bean smelling and tasting activities.

Tea enthusiasts were taken to Choui Fong Tea Plantation, where they could sample locally grown tea while experiencing the traditions and heritage of indigenous communities through traditional attire. The final day brought together the different flavours and experiences of the region through immersive ‘From Farm to Cup’ and ‘From Farm to Table’ activities, allowing delegates to connect with the origins of the coffee and tea they had encountered throughout the tour. The tour also highlighted Chiang Rai’s iconic cultural attractions, including Wat Rong Khun (White Temple), while showcasing the province’s approach to sustainable tourism and its growing potential as a destination for MICE events.

Through these experiences, IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific 2026 extended beyond business meetings and conference sessions, giving delegates opportunities to discover Thailand through its food, culture, people and diverse MICE offerings. By combining high-value business networking, education, and immersive destination activities, IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific continue to strengthen their position as a premier MICE event in the region.
